Frequently asked questions

What size snowboard bindings do I need?

Bindings are sized by boot size, usually S, M or L, and each brand's chart is a little different. Check the size chart on the product page against your boot size. If you're between sizes, bring your boots and try them in the binding; the toe and heel should sit centered with little overhang.

Will these bindings fit my board?

Most current bindings work with standard 4x4 and 2x4 insert patterns as well as Burton's Channel system, using the discs included. Check the compatibility notes on the product page, especially for older boards.

How do Burton Step On bindings work?

Step On bindings have no straps. Two toe connectors and a heel cleat lock into Burton Step On boots when you step down, and a lever releases the heel. You need Step On boots for them to work.

What binding flex should I pick?

Soft bindings are forgiving and playful for beginners and park riding. Medium flex suits most all-mountain riders. Stiff bindings give quicker response for carving, speed and freeride. Match them roughly to your boot flex.
