What is a 5 panel hat?
A 5 panel hat is a cap made from five fabric panels, with one wide, seamless panel across the front instead of the two front panels and center seam of a 6-panel cap.
5 panel vs 6 panel: what's the difference?
A 6-panel cap has a seam running down the middle of the front; a 5 panel hat doesn't. That seamless front makes 5 panel hats easier to embroider or patch, while 6-panel caps are the traditional baseball-cap build.
Are 5 panel hats good for embroidery and patches?
