The Salomon Genesis 2 Spike GTX takes the Genesis 2 trail platform and adds carbide spikes for grip on ice and hard-packed snow, with a GORE-TEX membrane to keep feet dry through slush and wet snow. A separate model from the standard Genesis 2 GTX — built specifically for winter running.
