Helly Hansen's Odin Stretch Hood Insulator 2.0 is a breathable, stretchy hooded synthetic insulator built as a mountain midlayer. PrimaLoft® GOLD Active+ is tuned for high-output effort - it vents heat and moisture instead of trapping them - and the slick face fabric slides easily under a shell. This is a warmth-and-breathability layer for hiking, mountaineering and backcountry skiing, not a waterproof shell.
