Description
The Head Kore 99 Skis fall right in the middle of the Kore line up as far as waist width goes. At 99-millimeters underfoot, you get supreme powder for "multi-tasking" around the mountain, whether it be on the frontside or backside. These skis still boast a stiff flex pattern which provides a lot of stability at a 17-meter radius, these skis like to carve, but their wider waist width allows them to handle pretty much anything at the resort other than the deepest snow. Rocker in the tip and tail provide great float and maneuverability, as does the tapered shape on both ends of the ski. The balance of performance that Head is able to achieve with the Kore skis is pretty astounding.
Features:
- HEAD's new top sheet shape, a sandwich sidewall construction and tip and tail rocker
- Super light, but with the trademarked Head straight line stability and excellent edge hold on firm surfaces,
- Light and flickable but still strong; excels off trail and in light to moderate powder.
- The only notable exception would be at absolute top speed through a wide and open bowl
