How to choose a ski bag
Length
Choose a bag a little longer than your skis so the tips and tails aren't pressed against the ends. Bag lengths are listed in centimeters, the same as ski length.
Padded sleeve or wheeled roller
A padded sleeve, like the Dakine Padded Ski Sleeve or Athalon 350, is light and simple for car trips. For flights, a wheeled roller like the Dakine Fall Line or EVOC Ski Roller adds protection and is far easier to move through an airport.
Single or double
Double ski bags, like the Athalon 365 and 360, carry two pairs of skis, which is handy for couples and families and often saves an airline bag fee.
Extra room
Larger rollers have room for poles, boots or outerwear around your skis. Check your airline's size and weight limits before you pack.
