What is your minimum order?
Our minimum is 48 hats, and you can mix and match styles and colors to get there. From 48 we go up through several thousand. Smaller runs sit toward the upper end of price per unit, larger runs scale down. The quote lays it out for you.
How much does a custom hat cost?
Our most common order is a Richardson 112 with direct embroidery. That runs $17.89 per hat at our 48-piece minimum and comes down to $13.99 per hat on larger runs. Patches cost more than direct embroidery, and a premium blank costs more than a 112, so treat those figures as the starting point rather than the ceiling. Price moves with the blank, the decoration method, the stitch count or patch complexity, and the quantity. Your quote lays out the full breakdown before you commit to anything.
What is the turnaround? Can you rush an order?
Production runs 3 to 4 weeks from approved art, plus 2 to 4 days in transit, so figure about 4 weeks from approval and 4 to 5 weeks from the day you first send us your project. Direct embroidery on in-stock blanks is the fastest path. Rubber (PVC) patches take the longest and are almost always 6 weeks. Debossed leather runs 5 to 6 weeks, and etched leather is about 4 right now. Rush options are available depending on the method and quantity, ask us during the quote.
What art file formats do you accept?
Vector files work best: .ai, .eps, or .pdf with embedded fonts. We can also work from high-resolution .png or .psd. If your art needs cleanup or you only have a sketch, we can quote a design step too.
Can you match my brand colors exactly?
Yes. Send us PMS codes or hex values and we match thread, ink, and patch color to your standards. If you have a physical swatch, send a photo of it on the quote.
Can I combine multiple decoration methods on one hat?
Yes. The most common combo is a front patch with embroidered side hits or back text. Tell us what you want and we will price it.
What about reorders?
We keep your art on file. Reorders skip the proof step and run 2 to 3 weeks in production, so they usually land in about 3 weeks instead of 4. Same pricing tiers apply, no setup again.
