Choosing a dad hat

Washed or crisp

Garment-washed caps like the Richardson R55 and Outdoor Cap GWT-111 and GWT-116 have a soft, broken-in look out of the box. Standard cotton twill caps like the Outdoor Cap AM-111 look cleaner and newer.

Cotton or performance

Cotton twill is the classic dad-hat feel. For workouts, golf or hot days, the Richardson 220 and Outdoor Cap PN-100U use moisture-wicking performance fabric.

Closure

Dad hats close in the back with an adjustable strap or snap, so one size fits most.
