KORUA Shapes was founded in 2014 by Nicholas Wolken and Stephan Maurer — two riders inspired by Japan's snow-surf culture who set out to build boards focused entirely on the art of turning. Every KORUA board features a minimalist white topsheet, red base, and directional shapes engineered for carving, freeriding, and powder, with no seasonal graphics to distract from the ride.
