Great single bike rack, high quality fit & finish

This is a super nice bike rack for ONE bike. Quality is excellent, worthy of the Kuat name. This rack can be used on the rooftop of cars with roof rails, or as a hitch rack, but you have to buy the hitch adapter separately (about $140). It gives flexibility to switch from roof rack bike carrier or hitch mounted. Cons: It does not have the ability to expand to more than one bike. When used as a hitch rack, it does not tilt down to access the trunk of an suv.
Conclusion: If you’re mostly riding solo, this is a great bike rack to have as it doesn’t stick out as much as dual bike carriers when using the hitch option. The quality is excellent. Highly recommmend as it is versatile and a very nice bike rack.
